Charity Quilts Resource Page
Do you want to contribute to those communities in Australia and around the world who have lost so much?
The Melbourne Modern Quilt Guild is not currently hosting any charity quilts projects1. However, we know that many of our members are interested in finding projects to contribute to, so we’ve created this page on our site as a resource for you to find organizations and individuals who are doing really great things for struggling communities around the world.
If you know of any other projects that could be included on this resource page, please contact us with the details.

The amazing Jan MacFadyen from Oz Comfort Quilts is seeking 10.5” (10” finished) QAYG (Quilt as you go) blocks, as well as donations of binding and batting. Over the past two years Jan has coordinated the donation of more than 2,500 quilts! She has great instructions for QAYG block construction on her blog. These blocks are really easy, fast to make, and are a great way to use up all those fabric strips you don’t know what to do with. For more information and inspiration please go to http://ozcomfortquilts.blogspot.com/
Quilts will be delivered through local contacts so they end up with the people who need them. |
