Pin Cushion Swap - Swap Due by 1st May

It's time to get excited, because signups have opened for our first swap of 2011. This time we are swapping pin cushions!

Here's our timeline:
- Sign-ups open - 8th Feb
- Sign-ups close - 28th Feb
- Recipient lists sent out - 1st Mar
- Pin-cushions due - 1st May

To sign up you must first post on this thread and secondly email details (full name, forum username, email address and postal address) to me at maiestia@gmail.com
You will only be entered in the swap if you BOTH email me and post on the forum.

You will also need to post a hand-full of inspiration photos to show your swap partner your style preferences by the signup deadline (28th Feb)

Inspiration photos can be posted on your blog and linked here, posted on your flickr and linked here, or directly posted here.
Inspiration photos can be of pincushions, any other craft project or anything at all that are of a style, colour, or anything that you like.
Please don't be too specific, allow your partner plenty of "creative space", just some guidance. You have until the 28th of Feb to edit your post with your inspiration photo information.

I will email you with the name and postal address of your swap partner on the 1st of March.

You have until the 1st of May to send your partner their pincushion.
The pin cushion should be usable as a pin cushion (in design and size), and should represent the "modern quilt" feel in any way you see fit.

Important: To ensure that nobodys hard work is in vein, pin cushions are to be sent registered mail (or delivered in person)

You must post on the forum when you have sent and received your item.
You must post a photo of the pin cushion you receive on your blog or flickr and link to it on the forum, or post it directly onto the forum. This is so that all members of the swap (and the guild) can see what everyone made/received.
