Getting Involved with the Forum

We would love to see more of our members be involved with our Forum – so much happens there!
All sorts of topics are covered: Retreat signups, book reviews, show & tell, sewing queries, swaps and quilting bees, sales spotted, questions asked about patterns and fabric and methods and ideas – really, too many to be listed here.
What is becoming apparent is that people may not be confident with how the Forum works – Where do I go? How do I make a comment?
A Forum FAQ has been set up under the Forum tab (under the top banner) – just hover your mouse over the word and click on the dropdown box that will take you through the steps of registering, searching, making a comment and keeping in touch. It is pretty wordy, but don’t let that put you off.
Open up another screen with the MMQG Forum and have the two screens side by side for easy referral.
Of course, if you have any questions, big or small, please ask Admin – admin@melbournemodernquiltguild.com We would Love to have people ask questions, rather than do nothing for fear of sounding silly.
The Forum is an important part of MMQG – especially for many members who live away or can’t make it to a meet one month, but still want to be part of the group. Sign up, have a really good look through and start posting – it may just become your best online place to go for a quilty chat!
